#1 Does anyone have any (good or bad) experience with the Beyma CP21/F slot tweeter. I have searched the forum and the internet but found nothing special about the sound quality of these tweeters. I am planning to try a pair with my Phy-HP wideband drivers. After many many experiments I like the Phy's to be crossed over no higher than 5kHz.

#1 Hi, Im about to order a pair of those tweeters but, I'd like to hear what you think about them. Afaik, they are very similar to the jbl 2404, but new and cheaper. Would I need to pair them with a mid tweeter? I plan to set the crossover around 4k and to use them with 8" drivers. Let me know if you think it cant work. Regards E electronicsman

What happens here? Above the frequency response promised by Beyma stretched to make almost the same 60-110 dB range and 2k-20k. Not quite what I found. Response of the two tweeter after treatment. Now, does look better and the dip is gone. I'm sure the poorly aligned horn parts are responsible for this.
